UPCOMING SWIFT DZIRE NEW MODEL 2021


The Maruti Suzuki Dzire has started to age quite a bit and looks old when it is compared to its rivals. The Dzire is the highest selling car in its segment and Maruti plans to keep it so with the launch of the facelift. The Dzire has been in production since 2008 and in 2017 the new-gen Dzire was launched. It is expected to get a makeover for this year and the new model will be out soon. The Dzire facelift will get some minor changes on the inside as well as the outside tREo keep things fresh. Find out below what exactly has been changed.

FEATURES OF SWIFT DIZIRE

On the inside, the car gets a host of new technologies such as ESP and Cruise control, the company’s latest SmartPlay touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and voice recognition along with cloud-based functions as seen in the recently facelifted Vitara Brezza and Ignis.

SWIFT DZIRE NEW CHANGES

The updates will help in expanding the lifecycle of the existing sedan as the exterior gets a refresh along with notable changes inside the cabin. The interior comes with the use of more premium materials including the wooden finish. The design changes are redesigned and bigger front grille, revised fog lamp housing and slightly sharper looking headlamps as you can see in our rendering.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

The Maruti DZire is currently available with two engines. One is the K12M 1.2-litre petrol unit and the other is the D13A 1.3-litre diesel unit. The petrol engine produces 82bhp and 113 Nm of torque. The diesel engine develops 74bhp and 190 Nm of torque. Both the engines can be coupled with either a 5-speed manual transmission engine or a 5-speed automated manual transmission. The petrol unit returns a fuel economy of 21.21 km/l, while the diesel unit’s fuel economy rating is 28.4 km/l.

PRICE AND LAUNCH DATE 

It will be launched in the coming months and will rival the likes of the Hyundai Aura that has been recently launched and also the Tata Tigor. The prices of the Maruti Dzire start at INR 5,82,613* with the petrol engine and INR 6,66,622* with the diesel engine.

UPCOMING BIKES IN 2021 INDIA
